Frequently asked questions
How long can a Pinterest pin title be?
Up to 100 characters, but only roughly the first 40 show in the feed, so lead with the main keyword.
How long can a pin description be?
Pinterest's pin builder allows around 500 characters, and only roughly the first 50 to 60 show in the feed, so put the key words first.
Where should the keyword go?
In the title, near the start of the description, and in the image alt text. Write for people first; do not stuff keywords.
Does this tool save my text?
No. Everything runs in your browser and nothing is sent anywhere.
