GoPinKaro

A Pinterest scheduler for Etsy sellers

Shoppers use Pinterest to find ideas and products. For an Etsy shop, that means each listing is worth several pins that link back to it. GoPinKaro lets you bulk schedule those pins from your product images and listing links, and keep them going at a steady pace.

The approach

Collect your listing photos and the URL of each listing, put them in a CSV, and import it. Each row becomes a pin that links to the listing. Write a title that names the product and what it is for, and a description a shopper would find useful.

Prepare the CSV

Import the file on the Bulk schedule page, review the pins, choose a board such as the collection the product belongs to, and schedule the batch.

Keep it varied

Pinterest favours fresh content, so vary images (lifestyle shots, close-ups, flat lays) and wording rather than repeating one image. GoPinKaro warns you when a new pin is nearly identical to a recent one.

How it connects to Etsy

GoPinKaro does not connect to your Etsy account or read your listings automatically. You provide the images and listing links, either by CSV or by pasting listing page URLs into the website importer.

Which plan

Bulk and CSV scheduling start on the Starter plan ($9 a month, 300 pins a month). The Free plan lets you test with up to 10 pins per request.

Writing titles and descriptions for listings

Name the product, its material or style and who it is for. Mention a use or occasion, since shoppers on Pinterest are often looking for ideas rather than a specific item.

Image types to rotate

A realistic workflow

  1. Make a spreadsheet with one row per pin: the image link, a title, a description and the listing URL.
  2. Save it as CSV and import it on the Bulk schedule page.
  3. Review each pin and choose a board that matches the collection.
  4. Schedule the batch at two or three pins a day so listings keep appearing.
  5. Remove the pins for any listing that sells out or is deactivated.

Rules

Pinterest and Etsy have their own rules about product content and links. You are responsible for following both.
